With only two weeks remaining in the year 2024, we find ourselves in a unique position to pause and reflect on the aspirations and intentions we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. This is a pivotal moment to assess our journey, to evaluate the progress we have made, and to consider the goals we aimed to achieve. What was your vision for 2024? Did you envision personal growth, career advancements, or perhaps deeper connections with loved ones? As we look back, it’s essential to ask ourselves where we currently stand in relation to those initial dreams and plans. Have we taken the necessary steps to turn our visions into reality? Are there achievements that we can celebrate or challenges that we need to address as we approach the new year? This reflection not only allows us to acknowledge our accomplishments but also provides an opportunity for recalibration as we prepare for the future. What lessons have we learned along the way, and how can we apply them moving forward? The end of the year serves as a powerful reminder that while we may not have reached every goal, the journey itself is valuable, filled with experiences that shape who we are and who we aspire to become.

The FLYY Movement
WHAT, HOW, AND WHY WE ARE HERE
The FLYY Movement started on October 7, 2007 at The Women’s Expo. Sistah Anyangō was preparing to do a Zumba® demo and was handed the mic to introduce herself. “Freedom to Love the You in You” came out of her mouth, and FLYY was born. From 2007 to the present, FLYY has helped hundreds of women and her relations find community, explore their passion and purpose, and find their way to live their authentic selves. It has never been an option to stop; always an opportunity to grow, shift, expand. FLYY has grown from FLYY Fitness, LLC to FLYY Fitness Healing & the Arts, to now, The FLYY Movement! The future holds The Asantewaa Healing Gardens which will be a retreat site that houses a space for movement, but also creates areas for meditation and reflection, gathering spaces, walking trails and more.
